HERRINGBONE “NDEBELE” HEAVEN!

The Universal Day of Wonder (ask Cindy)

Begin with the basic herringbone stitch and learn to morph it into a variety of embellished ways.  Once you have the basic stitch you can make it look like a “porcupine,”  “tube it up” into a lariat,  “change it up” by using a variety of different types of beads.  This versatile stitch will give you the opportunity to explore your creative streak.   A number of different samples and ideas will be presented along with help to create your own bracelet or necklace.   Class is approximately 4 hours.

BEADERS WORKSHOP – Thursday, February 19th 11:30-3:00

Are there projects you’ve seen that you want to try but aren’t exactly sure what to do?  Is there a stitch or method you want to learn but need a “guide on the side?”  Beader’s workshop is just the place for you.    Bring your pattern or an idea about what you learn and get assistance from experienced beaders.  As long as needed materials are purchased at A Bead Garden, the workshop is free.  If you bring your own materials, there will be a $30 class fee.  If the above time doesn’t work for you but you are still interested in the workshop, please call us at 706-499-5336, to arrange a time.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

With a simple and elegant frame, these earrings really show off a pair of beautiful stones. Here you will weave four base wires to introduce the up and downhill patterns of the Flame Stitch Weave, Single Wrap. The look is delicate and lacy, yet there is plenty of visual impact.
